Are you missing many or all of your teeth? We understand that this can cause distress, and it can also be hard to know how to find solutions.
Dr. Allouch and his team at Broadway Dental of Pearland are compassionate dental caregivers dedicated to finding solutions that are right for you and your smile. One of our premier solutions for missing teeth is All-on-X, an approach that uses implants to anchor permanent dentures. If you are interested in this customizable procedure, reach out to us for a complimentary consultation!
Why All-on-X?

Replacement options for an entire arch of teeth can increase your oral health, function, and cosmetic appearance all at once. They do not have to be complicated or uncomfortable. All-on-X is a customized approach that allows you to get a new and functional smile quickly.
This system also preserves your oral health, which traditional dentures cannot often do on their own. The mixture of permanent dentures and implants preserves your jawbone in a way that mimics your natural tooth roots.
At Broadway Dental of Pearland, our approach is simple, with an emphasis on the details of your new smile. These details will make your smile that much more comfortable and functional.
Explaining All-on-X
All-on-X is a permanent denture that is not removable. It uses anywhere between 4–6 implants to create a secure attachment to your jaw. This makes recovery easier and the procedure less expensive than placing individual implants.
This system has 3 separate parts, all working together to create a new smile.
- Implants: Implants are titanium posts placed directly into your jawbone. They stimulate your jawbone to keep the bone density around the area. The rest of the system is anchored to these secure points.
- Abutment: These are the connections between the implant and the overdentures. They have small rounded tops, so they can comfortably snap into the dentures we create for you.
- Overdenture: This is a custom-to-you denture that snaps onto the abutments. The gum color, tooth color, and shape of the denture are made for your mouth and can be adjusted for your preferences.
Since All-on-X is custom, we can craft the overdenture and implants to be comfortable and compatible with your gums and smile.
Do I Need to Have Jawbone Density for All-on-X?
Because we can choose how many implants are placed in your smile, All-on-X makes it easy for us to work around some jawbone loss. We will evaluate your jawbone density and other oral health factors during our complimentary implant consultation.
All-on-X is most likely to be successful if you have most of your jawbone density. If you have lost some of your jawbone due to tooth loss, we may be able to compensate by placing additional implants.
The Benefits of All-on-X
Restore Function and Stability
All-on-X offers a secure, functional solution that restores your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. Because the dental prosthetic is anchored to implants, you won’t deal with the common challenges of traditional dentures such as shifting, rubbing, or struggling with dental adhesives.
Preserve Jawbone Health
Tooth loss often leads to gradual bone loss in the jaw. All-on-X helps prevent this by using dental implants to mimic the stimulation of natural tooth roots. This stimulation assists your body in maintaining the bone structure, helping preserve the shape of your face, supporting long-term oral health, and preventing jaw pain.
Streamlined Treatment with Fewer Implants
Unlike placing individual implants for each missing tooth, the All-on-X approach uses strategically placed implants to support an entire arch. This reduces the number of surgical procedures needed, lowers overall treatment time, and makes the process more cost-effective without sacrificing results.
Aesthetic and Customizable Results
Your final smile is designed with precision. The overdenture is custom-crafted to complement your facial features, gum line, and bite. We work closely with you to find a tooth shape, size, and color that helps you feel confident.
A Long-Term Investment in Confidence
With proper care and regular maintenance, your implant-supported restoration can last for decades. You’ll enjoy the freedom of a full, beautiful smile that supports your lifestyle, without the limitations of removable dentures.
Our Simple Restoration Process
At Broadway Dental of Pearland, we believe that restoring your smile should be both precise and personal. From your first visit to your final results, we focus on the details that make your smile functional and customized. Here’s what you can expect during the All-on-X process:

- Complimentary Consultation: We begin with a one-on-one consultation to evaluate your oral health, jawbone density, and overall goals. This visit is also your opportunity to ask questions and feel confident about the treatment plan ahead.
- Digital Imaging and Treatment Planning: Using advanced imaging technology, we capture detailed scans of your mouth and jaw. These scans allow us to precisely map out implant placement so we can create a comfortable and precise placement plan.
- Implant Placement: During your implant procedure, 4–6 titanium implants are placed in carefully chosen positions in your jawbone. Healing time varies, but many patients can receive a temporary restoration the same day.
- Healing and Integration: Over the next few months, the implants will fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This ensures your restoration is secure and permanent.
- Custom Overdenture Design: Once your implants are stable, we take new impressions and begin designing your permanent overdenture. This step is where our focus on detail shines. Tooth color, shape, size, and gum appearance are all tailored to you.
- Final Placement and Follow-Up: Your final overdenture is securely attached to the implants, giving you a fully restored, non-removable smile. We make sure the fit, bite, and aesthetics meet your expectations.
Once you have your new restoration, we love to see you once every 6 months to make sure that your new permanent dentures are working well for you and that your oral health is strong.
In the Details of Your Smile
Our office loves to focus on the details of your smile to give you the highest quality and best results possible. There are many ways we can do that during a dental implant placement and dental restoration.
Precision with Dental Technology
We use advanced technology to plan your implant placement and create your custom permanent dentures. We may even be able to avoid sticky physical impressions with our digital imaging.
Placing and Restoring Your Implants in One Place
Not every dental clinic can place and restore implants. Some just do one or the other, making it difficult for you to schedule appointments and get to know your care team. Our office does it all in one place, so you can feel comfortable at our office and enjoy the convenience of efficient scheduling.
Dental Sedation for Extra Comfort
Our office offers several dental sedation options to maximize your comfort. Dental implants are often done under general anesthesia, but you can use dental sedation before the procedure to lessen your anxiety. Visit our dental sedation page to learn more.
